Well, on most computers there's a disc that came with it to do the restore to factory thing and it can take awhile. My mom had to call a computer guy in Canada to help her through it for 8 hours. On most new computers, made from like late 2004 until now you can just push 2 buttons and it'll do it for you.

Help her through it for 8 hours?! Phone bill!
I thought it was simply called a system restore. I don't know.
Why are there 2 of you down the bottom of the page?

Yes, she ended up having to pay like 200 something dollars.....
System restore is different than a restore to factory. System restore doesn't get rid of everything and take it back to normal. It'll still have everything on there.
There's two of me??

It's something else I'm thinking of then...I saw it, but I can't remember what it's called. It wasn't factory though on my computer.
There was. It said "Spuffy, Spuffy"

whoa...weirrrrrrrrrrrrd man.
Well, I doubt it was the factory anyway because you can't get to that unless you restart the computer and do it while it's starting up.

You mean in Safe Mode? I've been all up in that the past couple of days.
But you have Dell don't you? So, that may be why it's called something else.

No, not safe mode. I'm not talking about that You turn the computer on and push a certain button and there's a screen where it says you can restore your computer. It may be a Dell but it's called a restore to factory on all computers. I know from experience.

Hmm. If you say so, then. Your years of wisdom outweigh mine.

I believe I stated that.
Didn't stop you getting a virus or whatever, though.

I will indeed, if they're ever restored. I'm beginning to lose hope.
