LIEK ZOMG this is liek so cool, its like Lulu's sister being a friend of mine or something like that, yeah its THAT cool. the director of the latest Decemberists video for "O Valencia" goes to the same LJ community I do and asked that the directors cut (Aka longer than 4 minutes ) be posted on it, its fantastic there are a million other videos for this song though, because they did a contest (a greenscreen challenge) where anyone (aka fans) could make a music video for it by digitally adding a background, if only I knew how to do that  anyway here it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ad7XFStuB8damn the lead singer (Chris Meloy) can act, and even better than Justin Timberlake! the shorter version has a different ending, and ends in the car park with no letter and no kiddo, so its all sad but nice if you know what I mean LOL at the ending though liek soo emo, the poison the eyepatch the red liquid, lovely! |

crikey when the showdown occurred and we were only halfway through i had to wonder 'where can they go from here ' the letter was great and brutal is she in the band or an actress ? was the letter supposed to be read after she fled or or after what happened to her ? |

She is in a band, but not the decemberists, shes in a band called "Talkdemonic" which is touring with the band at the moment, but most of the other characters like the man in the suit and the assasination groups/people are band members probably after she fled, I doubt she was thinking "yeaaah I'm going to be assasinated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so better write some letters!" she probably just thought he'd help her get away, so she'd give him the letter and run like the wind! what a nice girl good acting though, some muscians can actually act! but sometimes its better if they use their skills for music videos instead although I'd love to see Chris Meloy in a tv show/film, maybe he could guest star in a episode of the black donnellys |

yeah they're in the strange womanists its a new emo/R&B/Assasin band where they go around killing the people that go to their concerts after every show theirs currently only one female in the band (they've had women in the band before ) and Colin's Girlfriend is in the video too: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_Valencia%21YEAH BANDS WHO AREN'T THE DECEMBERISTS! Maybe they steal peoples wallets too, thats how they pay for after-show/murder refreshments (yeah sorry, R.I.P to the innocent fans ) they obviously copied the Decemberists, shame the rists don't get such musicians as David Bowie and David Bryne coming to their concerts though, I heard that Bruce Forsyth went to their skegness one though if that was greenscreened whoever made that video must be amazing the type of person that would stop poverty and make it like it is in that Imagination filled John Lennon song I knew that! I love the acting Liam has done in the oasis videos hes fantastic |

yeah, I'd make a great parent hes such a snob too though, if anyone even comes close to getting into the top 40, he disses them in the nme and does some tap dancing after to prove his point!
