Just because the Spuffies they surveyed didn't know ye, doesn't mean all other Spuffies don't!

Whatever.
You know, this should really prove to Fox or whoever that they should BRING OUT SOME FREAKING SPUFFY MERCHANDISE! Oh, and a Spike movie featuring SMG.

I don't think you wrote fic back them... or did ye? Yeah I'm not a average spuffy shipper either, I'm not 36, I'm not highly educated (I'm street smart yo) but its nice to know that most of us are (yes being 36 is a good thing) Yeah fox should, I think they think that all People who are out there must be B/A shippers, helllooo! Buffy and Spike are the most popular characters in the verse! and ahem now they're the most popular couple and Spike sells the most merchandise! if they want to make less money! yeah sure go ahead don't make Spuffy merchandise but if they do want to make more money, they should! and most of us are highly educated! that means we might have good jobs with lots of money! we can afford it! (well I can't) but I bet most of the shippers can. yeah we're smart, we're middle aged, we're cool.

I probably wasn't. When was it done? I'd love to have a great job BECAUSE I'm a Spuffer Wouldn't that be good? Go to an interview and say "I'm a fan of the Spike/Buffy relationship" "You're hired!"

I think it was last year
ohh that would be great! and if they only hired Buffy/Spike shippers (Shipist! shipist!) we could all go to lunch and discuss Buffy/Spike and go watch Btvs after work and watch Something Blue or Touched or Fool for love and squee!... hehehe
Ok I went too far there.
But It would be fun.

There's no such thing as too far. I just copied this from a James Marsters interview they have up on Slayerverse- Later in the series, after Spike and Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar), began their unlikely screen romance, Marsters recalls one bizarre instance where the script called for him to lick Gellar. “I couldn’t do it,” he says to laughter. “Sarah was so funny. She said “you could rape me last year, but you can’t lick me?” “I told her that I loved her like a sister, warts and all. Kissing is one thing, but licking?” Ah, rape humor is always funny. She does realise he didn't actually get that far? Mmm licking.

Quote from Marti Noxon on "Smashed", which I don't remember reading before -
This was the beginning of the most divisive story we’ve ever had, which was Buffy and Spike boning. Really, I’ve never seen such a strong reaction on both sides. People either love it or hate it. To this day, people either truly believe that Spike is completely redeemed and should be treated a lot better, or they truly believe that Buffy is a fool for trusting someone who’s been evil and how can she be so unheroic as to allow herself to be caught up in this really sordid romance? So you get the total Buffy/Spikeshippers or you get the attitude, ‘I just don’t respect Buffy any more.’ It’s fascinating to see. “The thing I keep saying is that it’s not black and white. I’d love it to be, but it’s not. To me, this is much more real. If these two crazy kids can make it work, it will be a lot more interesting than a kind of perfect romance with obstacles thrown in. To me, this is real life; this is people making their own problems. If they can get it together, that would be amazing. But it was never going to be easy. That’s why Spike did something radical at the end of the year. Joss came up with the idea of the house coming down around them while they made love. It was perfect, because we needed something catastrophic to go along with this huge dangerous union.”
Boning? Ewwww.

Boning? It sounds like they were throwing bones at eachother! or using bones instead of swords. I prefer the term "having hot sex!" Yeah I've seen that quote well parts of it.

I'm like a drug addict, It's really hard for me to not sound like a obsessive shipper, It's really hard for me to not stand up for my ship Someone on a "certain" message board made a long post about how Bangel is better than Buffy/Spike and said buffy/spike shippers were freaks, and I nearly pressed that reply button, I really don't feel like debate/fight, he even said Buffy and Spike had no chemistry ohh why why are you torturing me? Just don't talk about my ship when you know nothing about it kthnxbye I'll TRY and ignore that post, I've been shipper war/debate for monthes now! I think my last one was on the CoA.

It IS like an addiction. You just want to stand up and defend your ship! Perhaps not literally stand up, but still.
