Giles: According to this text, our dimension isn't supposed to exist. It was formulated by the powers to create different timelines and different worlds. Our's is essentially an extra set of portal.
Buffy: We can't let her alter anything..........

Caleb can't let her go back remembering what had happened. She can't reunite with William the Bloody. And so he sent her back without any memories of this place.
Caleb: Gwyn, I gave her fake memories again. She will not remember this place or time.......

It was preordained that this world would dissolve and the next will follow. Giles finished the last part of the prophecy, rubbing his tired eyes.
Buffy stood up from her seat and glared hard at the watcher.
Buffy: Everything with you is preordained............
