I just read part one of the first arc and the arc "written" by Joss whedon (Arcs? how very Doctor whoey of them.) it was great, I knew what happened at the end because of the spoilers, but ooouu waah woou!

General Voll, aka the enemy (a general in the army) looks like an Old Marlon brando in a couple of shots.
that little "I miss sex" bit of Buffys missing stuff speech WAS TOTES ABOUT SPIKE, WOOOOOHOO.
haha oh Dawn, the virginity curse hits all the summers women shes got fat!
the scottish slayers accent was funny, what did she say "you dinno religion deeee ya no?" or something like that I think she was probably glasgwegian with highlander parents? ... I don't know, but we're posh around here so we say "Dinna Know"

it was good, makes me wish that it was on tv it would have been fantastic on screen.

There is good banter, actually. The dialogue - being a comic - is all very short and clipped so there's no inspiration speeches Yet.

Also the comics are really short! I have the first two and I finished the pair in about 5 minutes.

Giles and Xander look really young and lovely, but the women don't fair quiet as well

i liked the comic section in the old buffy mags and how they were set bewteen seasons .

im sure conspiracy theorists will say smg didnt let them use her likeness

I just think that SMG is really hard to draw, she's got an unusual look which seems to be very hard to capture in drawing. Besides Dawn looks nothing like Dawn either and Willow doesn't much too.

I can't wait until Spike and Angel show up. eeeee. It better be good.

i hope they do a big book of the whole series .

They always do, but I couldn't wait that long for the bumper book.

Apparently they won't play a large part in it though, which sucks bum because I don't really care about the army of new Slayers. Give me the core dudes, maaaaan.

i can sense an angel season 6 one coming , then a merge to boost sales , it will be like the buffy/angel mag situation

id love to see them bloodied and battered and alive after the season 5 finale .

Nah, they can just incorporate Angel into this comic. Save the trouble since I don't care about half the ATS stuff.

I think it's meant to be set months after all that so they should've healed by then. Assuming they're not both in wheelchairs with holy water burns on them.
