I was told not to give up, but right now I want to. I'm so tired of fighting. I listen as the battle cries rage around me. We were losing girls left and right.
Spike and me stand in the center of the chaos as we tried to find our friends.
I heard it. Someone yell!
"Buffy, help me!!!!!!!!!!!"
I know what I have to do.

I was determined to not let the first win.
When it comes to family, screw it, I want it all!
I am ready as ever to give this thing a piece of my mind.
She wants more of my loved ones, she'll have me to deal with first.
I am not done fighting.
I want to send this bitch to hell.

She diverted my attention to Spike. Was enough to distract me.
I am afraid.
So afraid...........!
I heard my name again. This time from a different person.
"Buffy, she's going to kill Dawn!"
Oh, now we're on!
I turn back to the first and threw myself at her. I punch, block, hit, and kick.
I want this nightmare over.
I want to go home and never think of this again.

She'll never touch Dawn again.
That was the last time.
"Someone, get Dawn the hell out of here!!!!!!!!"
Dawn didn't want to leave, but one look from me and she runs out after Faith.
Thank god my sister didn't argue.
I just want her safe.
Right now is not the time.
We have little time left.
We need to resume fighting.
Life is on our hands.
We have to keep going.
We can never stop.
There is no rest for the warriors.
We are the defenders of the light.
We are the champions................
