Me too Its a shocker to wake in that state . Me too! Thrice, actually. One time I woke up and the pillow was stuck to my face with blood. I went downstairs and my mother thought my sister had beaten me up so she smacked her. haha. It's horrible. Stupid computer.

has anyone just randomly found paint shop pro on their computer before after you've completely restored your computer to factory?

I don't even know what restoring it to factory IS.

Well, it's when you restore your computer back to the way it was when you first got it, before you put ANYTHING at all on it. It only has the things that came with your computer.

I was going to do that but I was too scared and also I'm not sure if it would blow up or something worse.
I tried to do a system restore to a point earlier on in the year when the computer was working but it didn't work.
Thwarted at every turn.

I tried system restores but my computer was still messed up so we just redid the whole thing. All my work GONE. My PhotoImpact GONE. My Firefly GONE! My Doctor Who GONE!

I'd be just worried about my Word files, although I have most of them saved on disks anyway. But I'd kind of worry that I still wouldn't be able to get Word considering I lost the activation key and stuff.

Did word come on your computer? If it did I don't know why you'd need an activation key. My mom and I never needed one for anything.

See, that's the thing - I can't remember. I can't remember if it was already on there or if I had to install it. I have the disc and everything...
Also I kind of deleted it off the Windows Installer list because a pop up kept saying it was installing it and it was getting on my nerves. It said that could never be reversed and I'd have to install it manually in the future. So I don't know if I system restore would reverse that or not.
Oh, what a tangled web I weave.

Well, I know that with my computer they also gave me discs of everything that was already installed on there so that may be why you have the disc. With something like Word though I'm guessing it was already on there.
A system restore might not reverse that but a restore to factory definitely would. It just completely fixes everything. It'll re-install anything you deleted from the computer that was originally there and it'll delete anything else you'ved added since then. Kinda sucks, but does help.

I don't think I know how to do that factory thing, and I'd have to think long and hard about it before I did. *strokes chin*
