Its if youre quoting somebody who got something wrong you dont want readers to think youre a knob so you add (sic) so they know ''oh the fool theyre quoting got that wrong ! but this quality writer knew and pointed it out  '' |

I think so but WIKI has other ideas : Sic, a Latin word that means "thus" or, in writing, "as it was in the source material" that could make sense too |

And we don't like "nice" around these here parts! The Doctor Who recapper on TWoP seems to have seen Hex already (how naughty) and thinks it's the best show ever.  |
