Its if youre quoting somebody who got something wrong you dont want readers to think youre a knob so you add (sic) so they know ''oh the fool theyre quoting got that wrong ! but this quality writer knew and pointed it out ''

I think so but WIKI has other ideas : Sic, a Latin word that means "thus" or, in writing, "as it was in the source material" that could make sense too

And we don't like "nice" around these here parts! The Doctor Who recapper on TWoP seems to have seen Hex already (how naughty) and thinks it's the best show ever.
