Both I'm getting buy one get one free pairs, so I'll have 2 pairs of glasses but the ones I want are £125 then I'll have to pay probably £150 to get the lens thinned on both pairs so that'd be £300 just for the lenses

That's my argument. It's probably the most important purchase a sight-challenged person like myself could make 'Sides I wear them every day.

They do sunglasses too but I didn't want them No visors, though I'll be starving this month, as my mother so nicely reminds me. Glasses should be free anyway.

they should give out all purpose magnifying visors with no finesse, while you wait for the intricate lenses that day of free specs will surely come!

I'll muddle on through with my old perscription. Everyone kept saying how blind I was. It was great. I felt so confident after that. I'm much blinder in my right eye for some reason. You can get childs ones for about £50 on the NHS and they're more durable. The lady was recommending my pairs from all the shop and then she came to those and I was like "Bitch, please."

maybe all the winking rests your left eye knowing which eye is the 'master eye' is the first step to improving your snooker if thats any consolation if only Jarvis Cocker had a resurgence , that nhs spec look would be acceeptable again

I've lost track of how long I haven't had internet at home.... And because I don't have internet, I've been going to bed around midnight and waking up around 8 or 9 in the morning. My days are long and boring.

I can't believe you missed the whole glasses tirade! You need a stronger precription! Or to be less self-involved, whichever
