I did not see the Sheriff's twist coming! not his actual 'twist' because ugh but the hanging thing! Wait, no, that sounds wrong too. The early death of Robin's men. When they were shown dead I was actually like And is it completely wrong that I was like "YES!" when Marian said she would marry Guy. I don't like Robin/Marian so there. Although his attempted kiss of her and her playfull "f off" was nicely played. GUY/MARIAN FOREVA.

it was a great bit of showmanship from the sherriff after weeks of posturing when she said she'd marry him when the king returned , was that like saying ''when pigs fly'' or she was genuinely accepting ?

YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. The Sheriff didn't have much to do this week so they had to make it worth while. And I loved it. It was tough, maaaan. I thought that at first but then I realised it was probably just her way of stalling for time like setting a wedding date and being engaged for ages. I suspect that's how Guy took it and by the way she said sorry to Robin I'm guessing she has actually entered into engagement with him. I liked it when Guy went in to kiss her and she did the classic turn of the cheek movement

I was thinking "Cor, blimey guv! Tis a bit dark for a kids show!". I prefer it dark Meow. Her Nightwatchmen uniform is ridiculous.

"Mam, why're they all sad? those ponces!"
Her hood should have fallen off about ninety times.
I want to see Guy go and apolgise to Marian's dad and be all like "Oh sorry for slapping you and threatening to kill you and your daugther, but Marian and I are now betrothed! No hard feelings."
Marian of Gisborne.

I think I love him. I was just reading the robin hood site and loads of people are liking Gisborne. Damn, I thought I was being abstract and original.

haha Guy's late realisation of the firey arrow was hilarious and his overly long run away yelling "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!" made me laugh. The Guy/Marian relationship is the best thing about it for me They're just both so evil. I know she isn't meant to be but she kind of is. Did you see the BBC Christmas promo just before it with clips from Doc Who and Robin Hood etc? With Marian in her wedding veil?
