It's a true classic.
The two "You're beneath me" scenes, the closing scene.
I loved the whole idea of Spike and Buffy fighting, with Spike being the teacher, telling her all sorts of things about the Slayer line.
"Here endeth the lesson"
She repeats that sentence in "Showtime!".
Spike in Becoming Pt. 2 also says to Dru "I don't want to hurt you. Doesn't mean I won't" and Buffy says the exact same line to Willow in "Villains" I think it is.

yeh! Those two crazy kids! always repeating what the other one says!
I love the Job Nick Marck did with the directing! the subway scene was fantastic and I loved how it went back and forth to the past and the present.

I love this episode. I used to get it confused with Crush though... Just the title! and it was more I thought Crush was Fool For Love than Fool For Love was Crush... make any sense? It's one of my favorite episodes in season 5 and in the series. I loved how Spike was being all with the educating and the flashing back and forth. You got somewhat of an insight into his life. All in all, quite the good.

I thought the teaser was good too. Buffy getting staked. Metaphor for some spiking later on? It had to happen.
I also liked the way they just played pool. Like buddies. Sigh.

Being staked defintely isn't in my column of "Things that are fun to do." Gotta be making with the pain there. I like that metaphor of yours.

I love this episode. I used to get it confused with Crush though... Just the title! and it was more I thought Crush was Fool For Love than Fool For Love was Crush... make any sense? Same thing used to happen to me as well. Love this episode, always been one of my favorites. ;D

In my head, I think I still connect them. It's like "Crush" is a continuation of "Fool For Love". hehee.

I still continually think that Fool For Love is right before Crush and even when I was posting all the eps in here when I got to Fool For Love I was like "oh! Crush is next!" then I was sorely disappointed to find I was wrong.
