While some people may use IM to pass along gossip or simply kill time, you probably like to use that brainpower for more thoughtful discussions on topics like politics, the latest news headlines, or even just to laugh at yourself when you've missed the obvious. For you, IM probably likely serves a useful purpose. Whether you're talking to a friend overseas, asking a co-worker about a project, or solving the problems of the world, you're using that mental muscle of yours. I sometimes have thoughtful discussions on politics and news! but people get annoyed because If I start talking about politics or the news I don't stop.. if you bring up george bush or the war in iraq... I will talk for hours without even flirting!, but yeah... mostly on the internet I joke and flirt dat meanz I iz dumb innit?... and from a council estate in hackney apparently I think the one with the glasses is supposed to be smart... because you know everyone who wears glasses is smart. |
