So yall (yes I'm texan today) excited about christmas? eh... partners? have you bought presents? do you have a tree? do you still believe in Santa? I've bought cards... thats it. But I'm getting into the christmas mood, I've downloaded christmas songs from artists I like, and I'm going to make a mixed cd and burn it and put it on at christmas. I might even upload the mix on my LJ  But yes, I'm in the christmasy mood. |

Generally I don't care too much about Christmas. I used to love it when I was little and it was exciting but relative poverty really puts a dampner on things. 'Sides I hate having to open presents in front of people. Oh, and then there's all the stress of giving presents. I don't have much money so I can never afford anything very good and it's embarrassing giving crappy stuff to people  If I had a job I'd work Christmas Day just to escape it (and for the extra money) In the later years it's got really boring. Wake up, unwrap presents, sit around doing nothing, eat, sit around doing nothing. You'll probably find me on here! Oh and this year most of my family aren't even giving presents to one another so I think I'm getting a couple of things from my mum (even though she said she wouldn't get anyone anything, she has got me a few little bits 'cos I'm the baby) So there won't even be presents. Bah humbug. |
