we had a manager at work who asked one of the men to go with him to a chippendales style thing , saying theyd be the only men there he's never been allowed to forget it

Not really, no. Everything kept going wrong and I had a hundred and ninety two things to do. It was the worst day ever. Then I had to share the bus home with the guy from highschool who was my mortal enemy...but that actually redeemed my day. Because he was by himself, didn't say anything to me and actually seemed quite anxious. I was all super confident too, laughing with some lady at the bus stop just to seem at ease.
