Wahoo finally got the DVD today:) The post around Christmas time is terrible here in the UK! All thats left now is that rumour of the made for TV sequel with Universal and Fox teaming up.... if only it were true! Oh and the DVD is selling pretty damn well....  |

The Film and tv series sales should convince the moneymen that there's a guaranteed audience for a straight to dvd thing .

bestof.ign.com/2005/movies/8.html & bestof.ign.com/2005/movies/20.htmlDidn't quite get best movie, but it won best sci-fi and was a runner up to Batman Begins for best movie of the year! A runner-up along with Brokeback mountain, Syriana & Munich! Which means Joss is already up there with the big boys in directing! Ang Lee, Stevo, Nolan etc! Its good that such a popular site (which also runs rottentomatoes.com) is giving the film so much kudos!

Serenity was just voted No.1 film of 2005 on "Film 2005 with Jonathan Ross" on BBC1 just minutes ago. Just thought I'd let you know. Even though the guests had never heard of it.  |

I'd have been funny if, in the bit where Kaylee and Simon are kissing and River is looking at them from above, Summer had toppled down onto them "Can we go over the part where Jayne got beaten up by a 90 year old...man...with...man boobs..." (paraphrased). Goodnight, America. |

Wasn't it something to do with on the show, she messed up quite a few takes on this one shot that was really hard so they all used to shout "Summer!" and it stuck? |
