Spoilers ahead! Just returned from this movie and it was pretty good. Dr. Doom is my hero! Since the guy from Charmed played him he did seem a lot like Cole at times but that wasn't really a bad thing. I think the love story between Susan and Reed was a bit cheesy at times but I was glad when they ended up together, even though Doom wanted her and I would have taken Dr. Doom's side just so he wouldn't kill me It was sad for Ben though, who became "The Thing". He couldn't change back and was misunderstood by his wife, who left him after his change. But he did end up with a nice blind woman so that was good. And he dealt with his change now, and gets teased by Johnny "The Human Torch". The fight scene with Doom in the end was pretty good and Johnny going supernova to fire Doom up and Susan putting the forcefield around it to protect the Earth's atmosphere from catching fire, then Ben crashing the fire hydrent and directing the water towards Reed who made it hit Doom and drastically cool him down really showed how well they all work together as a team . The ending left it open for a possible sequel when the newly statue-ified Doom was locked up but the guy's hand-held was blinking in and out, showing Doom still had power. All in all, a good film. I'm actually hoping for a sequel. Fingers crossed!

I think it's cinema worthy I just saw it again yesterday day with my other friend since she hadn't seen it yet. She liked it as well. Some parts are cheesy as I stated above, but it's a good film.

I saw this today. I thought it was quite good, my friend loved it.
For some reason Sue was my favourite character. I liked it when Reed told her to get invisible and then she had to take her clothes off but then she turned visible again and was in her underwear. hehehe.
Reed's stretchy thing was gross but it was good when the newscaster asked Johnny if it was true that Reed could "Stretch any part of his anatomy". I hadn't even thought of that and I have a dirty mind!
I felt very sorry for Ben, and didn't like Johnny much. I know you're supposed to think of him as a loveable rogue but I just thought he was a pisspot. Ben's the stud. His wife's reaction was understandable but sad, however what WAS she thinking running outside in her lingerie???
I didn't even notice the man's mobile flashed on and off at the end. Oh well.

Is it something to download , or do the effects mean its going to have to be a dvd purchase ?

Well, it depends. The effects aren't that fantastic (see what I did there?) although the whooshing of the Human Torch sounds good in the cinema.
