the only real acceptable way is death

perhaps being stamped on by a big foot ala monty python, or maybe she could start singing and dance herself to death like in once more with feeling.

id say it will be a dilemma for her to save the Doctor and sacrifice herself , and he'll be screaming at her not to , but she'll decide the world neeeds him more but this seems too obvious and boring

sounds like something he would do... sounds like the doctor has rubbed off on her (and the D/R shippers squee again.) I could see that happening, but it would be sad if she did die, I want to see her doing a Sarah Jane and comeing back 20 years later older and having the doctor (played by one of the beckham kids) hug her tightly and say "ROSE!!" and have his companian (played by shiloh jolie-pitt) be jealous and gorgeous I could see her just leaving, maybe after the doctor has broken her heart or she realizes she's a lesbian or something like that, or maybe she misses her mum!

it would be too awful for him to just have a new sidekick if she left though , if she was dead it would be forgivable she would make a good reappearence in 20 years though , with the new doc being under her spell once more

yeah but that isn't what the doctor does, he doesn't go out and says "well my last companion that I had a strong bond with btw, is gone so take a ride on my travelling machine babay " he goes around for a while alone then stumbles upon someone that says "this is boring, I wish I was travelling on a travelling machine called a tardis with a time lord called the doctor who is 900+ years old" and he comes up and says "hey that's me, lets travel through time!" awful! it's ok, he'll always remember his companions (watch school reunion, he's all "omgz sarah jane") but he doesn't realize how close they get to him, that crazy timelord.

no we will, I think, I'll have to go watch an episode or ask an old schooler about how it works SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE EPISODE WITH THE DEVIL THING! THE SATAN PIT! Today's episode told us a lot about her eventual departure. She shot a hole in the glass and I'm sure she didn't know their was another emergency glass thing there, she did the right thing even if it meant she would die, as long as the earth was saved, she wanted to stay on the ship thing and she knew the thing was there and she could die for the doctor (if I was a doctor/rose shipper I would squee about now, but Doctor/Tardis is my otp!) she's brave now and she's willing to sacrifice her self to do the right thing. and the devil thing said "she will die in a battle" and I think the doctor believed him, and I'm expecting or hoping to see him struggle in the next couple of episodes and realize she might be in danger or you know, go on a volcano with her and fly about the larva and dance around around not caring if they fall! but she probably will, I can see her doing that, "Doctor! I don't care! I want to do the right thing! just telling you now, I love you in more than a companion way I does! even if you still looked like William hartnell or you regenerated into ronnie corbett" "really? I thought you only fancied me for my looks and squeed like all the fangirls?" "no I know you are an old foggie! goodbye *Dies*" I can see it going like that

It could be good if they do it that way aslong as they dont do a ''previously on Doctor Who'' thing in her last ep that features that prediction

Yeah, when that said I was like "OMG NOOO". But Rose is totally going to die. It's the only way she'll ever leave the Doc.

im enjoying how impossible theyre making for it for the show and the doctor to carry on without her , i like that theyre giving themselves that challenge instead of making her not as important to the doc as she clearly is .

It'll hurt more that way though I liked the jokes about everyone staring at each others bums as they had to crawl through the ventilation shaft. Because it's so true, you would. YOU would! And the Captain knocking her out and having to carry her...I always think on TV or film when a man has to carry someone how do they do it! Heavyness!

they can dismiss her importance in the first Roseless ep there were plenty of gratuitous closeups i bet they have to do it without complaining to appear heroic on set too .
