Surprise, surprise.
Anyway, apparently Tom Cruise proposed to her on the Eiffel Tower. Which is strange because that's what I was going to put but the lady on the radio said empire state building. Gosh, darnit.
My sister thinks her engagement ring is ugly.

Apparently she is only about an 1" or 1 1/2" taller than me. woo. She is 5'8"

I read in my trashy mag today a very good theory. MID LIFE CRISIS. And Katie Holmes is probably like, 'well this can't be bad for my career.' She is really tall, but Tom is also short. And swarmy. I never watched her old show. But Spuffy and I should like her because she's from Ohio!  |

I've seen Katie Holmes in The Gift (in fact I saw more of her than I wanted to see) but haven't really caught any of her other films yet.

I've seen First Daughter. It was good, had some cheesy moments. It was funny, sad, romantic, yada yada. Good movie, but I just had to laugh whenever I saw Marc Blucas. I found him rather Riley like, but maybe that was just me.

Shameful News!
Tom Cruise was attacked with water pistols in London yesterday at the premiere of War of the Worlds. A CH4 comedy crew decided to squirt water in his face and on his body. Cruise repeatedly called them "Jerks" and had them arrested. They could be charged for attacking him. Only in London. Tsk.
In other news, apparently there are "Save Katie" T-shirts floating around the internet because she converted from Catholicism to Scientology and Tom is clearly corrupting her.
Wonders never cease.
