At work loads of people paid a quid to get a piece of paper with one of the teams names on and then if that team wins the cup they get money. The guy who got Iran was less than thrilled. I should have done it too but when they asked me I thought it was going to be something more complicated like picking the winners and then the runners up and stuff so I was like "Noooo."
The Swedes will retaliate by singing "Mamma Mia!" to shock and confuse the other team(s). How unfair is it that Sweden will have to play two teams at once. Shocking.

weve got a fantasy league type thing with a £60 jackpot  there was another one floatoing about where you had to predict the results of about 20 matches and all sorts of things , but i couldnt be arsed . Theyre cocky enough to say '' add jamaica to the two youve already got !'' |

Yeah, there's a couple of things like that going on too. I can't be arsed with any of them. Stupid football.

Holland are on and im pleased I think the brutal heat is ruining the early games though the evening ones seem quicker and more exciting . |

IRAN SCORED!!!!!!!!! OHH YES COME ON MY PERSIAN SONS! ohh typical English! going against the scot! yeah they will, that goal was rubbish haha and they only got 1 when playing with Paraguay and that was becuase of an paraguaian (whatever their called) player! they will be confident, but I think England will probably will, unless the T&T team takes them out for drinks the day before  |

All my mates were saying it would be 3-0 yesterday , i was saying 1-1 as england havent played well in 6 months and even then it was a one off |

you're the most sane and rational England fan I have ever met I'm sad Iran lost, but those goals by mexico were good! 2 in 3 minutes ohh cookaracha!  and I awwed when the player whos dad died cried. |
