What are your favourite Bands? of all time and right now too? mines are: The Beatles, best.band.ever, my favourite band of all time, they've influenced so many great bands, their songs are great, my favourite member is John, followed by George, they were all great, I did kind of have problems with Ringo though, but hes ok, much love for the drummer yo. Nirvana, Aberdonians!!!.. ok they're from Aberdeen, Washington.. but still , I listen to Nirvana in bed and they take me to a different place, sometimes I listen and say "what the hell is kurt saying?" but it doesn't matter, no wonder stoners listened to them, it must feel great listening to them while smoking a spliff (which is wrong!) don't do drugs kids! they make me want to become a mosher! yeah!! *jumps up in the air while wearing ripped jeans* The Smiths, dude they were emo, way before emo was cool (just like daria) much love to the smiths, no over grown fringes and glasses they don't need for them, I loved Morriseys unusual and witty lyrics and Johnny Marr was great on the guitar, I liked their album covers but I didn't like the cover for Strangeways, Here We Come, not because of morrisey, but the picture quality was horrible.. it was strange ... way my Dad got me into Pink Floyd (my dad has great taste in music... he does listen to george micheal though... oh wham was great!) I squeed when they reunited for live 8, old rockers! yay!!!! they still rock! I loved their lyrics, I remember the first time I heard a pink floyd song I went "huh?" that was when I was about 13 or something, their lyrics were very philosophic and their album covers were great. Red Hot Chilli Peppers, haha its so hard to find a picture where they aren't naked, anyways, they were probably the first rock band I got into, rap, funk, pop they have everything in their songs, I have nothing more to say except, they rock! Muse, I'm listening to them right now oh Bellamy... I love ye, I can't wait till their new album, good band, one of the best british rock bands out there. EDIT: Coldplay, a lot of people diss them But I like them, ok X&Y wasn't that good, but I still like them. The Strokes! (good name!, perverts) they're great , I loved "is this it" and the cover was great good band, still need to get their new album, juice box is great. I can't think of any more right now

I went a bit image happy. Heh. And this isn't even all the bands I like... You can expect mostly emo types. Yes, I'm one of those (emo people! nothing else...) In reverse alphabetical order - Something Corporate. Okay, they are so emo. Heheh. Look at them! Nerds. But I like their songs. They're catchy and they did the epic 9 minutes 41 seconds "Konstantine" that is brilliant and is totally Spuffy. The End. Seether. I hadn't really even heard of them till recently. They have some great songs though. They're mostly know for "Broken" (the version feat Amy Lee) but the whole Disclaimer II album rocks. Wow the lead singers looks really hot in that pic... Ha! I love that album cover. Yeah, Papa Roach. SO?! They have some classic songs (or what passes for classic to me...) Last Resort, Angels and Insects, Gouge Away, Scars, She Loves Me Not, Broken Home, Getting Away with Murder... Nine Inch Nails are the schiz. They're just too cool for you, and you know it. The lead singers voice is actually kind of haunting. It scares me. That's good. My favourite band. I love Muse. And they're British too. WOOT. I mostly got into them cos of their fantastic Absolution album - I vehemently hated them before that, I'm not quite sure why. Rob Thomas has a great voice. It's all deep and...American...you can always tell when it's him singing. Matchbox 20 reminds me of going on holiday considering I bought their album in Spain and listened to it the whole time. Sigh. Ah. Yes. Okay, so it's not cool to like Linkin Park. But then again I'm not cool. So it's okay! Admit it, you can't help but sing/shout along to their songs. I do wish they'd stop releasing the same songs over and over though. Lacuna Coil. The original Evanescence - who also should be on this list but I couldn't be arsed - haunting melodies, hot goth girl singers. What more could you want? Boom sha kaskaks kd...Freak on a Leash etc. Heh. I've gotten into KoRn in a big way. Although I have no idea what that dodgy Word Up cover was about. Kaiser Chiefs. I predict a riot! They rightly cleared up at the Brit Awards. They're songs are upbeat, funny, and quintessentially British. Love. Foo Fighters. Ignoring their recent slightly poo album, they rule! Best of You is such a good song (from their recently poo album) and I also like their older stuff. Plus Dave Grohl is hot. Okaaaay...so technically that's just Chris Cornell ^^ but GUH. *drools*. Anyway, Audioslave = love. Cochise, Show Me How to Live, and Like a Stone (one of my fave songs ever) are all masterpieces. You think Jay Z and Linkin Park's collabs were revolutionarly? (okay, no one does but...) Aerosmith did it first! With RUN DMC! YES THEY DID IT WITH THEM! They're so much cooler than The Rolling Stones. i.e Steven Tyler can actually sing. 'Sides lots of their vids feature the beautiful Liv Tyler. Mmm. Oh and their songs are good too. Told you it was a lot! And I didn't even get to fit in The Magic Numbers, Jack Off Jill, Hole, Velvet Revolver, Placebo, Queens of the Stone Age...

oh my god! your emo? haha, well you like emo music, so thats ok, almost all music is emo, every singer sings sad emotional songs once in a while, even eminem... eminem is emo! but your not into the whole emo "hey lets cut ourselves and wear glasses that we don't need! being depressed is cool!" scene, its just that, that I don't like Muse love! I like Audioslave, I have their "audioslave" album, and I love Velvet Revolver (I have contraband too) sometimes I have a crush on Scott Weiland, yes sometimes! and slash is in the band too (I loved Guns N' Roses) so I love them yo. Kaiser Cheifs are great!, I've heard a lot of people diss them and say "Ohh they're so pop! they think they're rock and indie! they're not!" bla bla bla etc the kaiser cheifs themselves don't go around saying "yeah baby we're rock and roll" they're just doing their own thing, leave them alone you bints!, I like employment it makes me want to dance. my friend went to see Jack Off Jill I think. Aerosmith are great! glam rock hooray!, I love that picture steves doing the "I'm pregnant and I'm brushing my wonderfull hair away from my cheeks" look, yeah that Aerosmith and Run DMC song was great Run DMC = rocks, Aerosmith = rocks, walk this way = it rocks so much that its formed into a tower of rocks! I like Nin too, and Foo Fighters are good too, everyone has at least one poopy album.

I'm EMO and I love it. I don't even really know what emo is but I am it! Except I don't wear the emo clothes and I don't like being depressed (I just am sometimes). I do wear glasses but I wouldn't unless I had to. Stupid glasses. That's why I'm confused about what "emo" really is cos I thought all songs were supposed to be emotional in some way... MUSE 4 ME I have that Audioslave album too. I have a tiny crush on Chris Cornell sometimes. I can see what you mean about the Velvet Revolver guy. I thought he was kind of hot in the Sour Girl vid...but that may just have been SMG So what if Kaiser Chiefs are pop? I like pop. I'm all eclectic and stuff And their songs are good for jumping up and down to. Haha Steven Tyler pregnant...what a notion. I have the Aerosmith greatest hits (2 CD's ) and every song is great. Yeah, poopy albums are actually kind of "in". In a poopy way.

is out of exile any good? everyone looks hot around Sarah Michelle Gellar yeah pop is great! pop just means popular, and theirs a reason why kaiser cheifs are popular... because they're good! Your Eclectic? OMG me too!!!11 its the way hes bending in that pic, either he wants to be pregnant, or he decided to do some back bending excerises during the shoot I want to buy that cd! but theirs a "O yeah! ultimate hits cd" and a "greatest hits cd" and I wasen't sure which one to buy, I hate when bands have more than one hits album, stupid bands, how dear they be successful! everything poopy is in nowdays, bad means good, good means bad, its all very confusing.

I don't know, I don't have it. I've heard good things about it though. Even I would look hot around SMG. And then we'd elope. I have the "O yeah" CD. It's the bomb diggity. Nearly as good as the BSB Greatest Hits bad is good, no means yes...oh, no. That's just what rapists say.

yeah my "family" also did it too, it wasn't just me making up accents... no sirey! I was watching a family guy episode and stewie said something about recording himself, and listening to his voice and how everyone did it.. and he was like "ohh was that just me?" I was shouting "no I did it to!"

When I record my voice and listen to it I sound so weird. I recorded my whole German speaking test papers (7 sheets of paper's worh) and listened to over and over in an attempt to learn it, and it sounded terrible.

yeah me too, I just sound, I sound so scottish, yeah I know I'm from scotland, but my accent is just too aberdonian, and I don't sound how I think I sound... its just weird. maybe you should of listened to it while sleeping? haha I remember watching a Dexters Lab Episode when I was little (its the only episode I actually remember) and dexter fell asleep listening to a learn french tape and he woke up and he could speak french fluently... maybe that only happens in cartoons I learnt my first french word because of that show Omelette du fromage.. cheese omelette

YESS!!!!! That Dexter's Lab ep was why I did it! (although I didn't listen to it while sleeping cos I have enough trouble sleeping normally without listening to myself speak) and that's how I learnt cheese omlette too! I think I should sound more feminine. Less butch.

really? cool! yeah cheese omlette! it'll be handy if we ever go into a cafe in france so does German have feminine and masiculine (I so didn't spell that right) words too? french has "un" for men "and "une" for women... I think, I haven't done french in ages.
