I was rather annoyed, actually. I was like "Where were you 6 months ago! No, really where? Bahamas...oh how nice."

I'm really confused, a part of me does want to go to university, but I know It'll take me years to get there, since If I go in about 1 or two years time when I have the right qualifications to get in, I'll probably drop out because It'll be so hard for me and if I do go to uni I'll most likely take a course that will let me get into the 2nd or 3rd year of the course and that's a HNC/HND course, but it would take me years to get there I'll probably be 25 or 26 and a Job is just so hard to get! I might just have plastic surgery and become a trophy wife, yeah that's what I'll do! that's my ambition in life! to become a old rich mans flame!

The staggeringly prestigious 'South Bank University' (yeah right ) let me in with a barely scraped ND , so its not an impossible goal

I have a mate (going all british here for a second) who's going to Wolverhampton Uni and he just did a hnd and he's a lazy git So yeah it's not impossible, but I have to get at least one higher (equivalent to A level) to get in so I might have to go to college another year or have an interview and sound enthusiastic I'll still have to get a job though, since my parents aren't going to be paying for anything

My friend is studying some kind of science in Uni right now and for her A Levels she got one D and two N/A's. The D was in Sociology, the N/A's in the Sciences! I pretty much have the same concerns about going to Uni, though. Yeah, I'm going to get charged rent with my first pay cheque. £50 a week.

£50? oye! WHAAAAT? what uni is this? if she got one a level I would have thought she would have to repeat it or do a HND/HNC course to get into uni, if she didn't that's amazing and that's the best uni in the world

They should have let you have one week of rolling in your own cash before taking their rent theres plenty of universities in desperate need of students so they turn a blind eye to a few things like standard entry requirements and thank god for that

I love those kind of Universities, do they tell people that they need students or is it a - have an interview, beg to get in even though you don't have the right qualifications, universtity course person tries to not look desperate, gives you the whole "you seem nice, it's really busy, maybe I don't know, we'll see what we can do" speech, one hour later they phone you up "oh someone dropped out, we'll let you in! we don't do this all the time though nope!" kind of deal?

Thats almost exactly it they look at your qualifications then suddenly start whispering conspiratorially and let you in with a sort of ''this is between you and and me'' wink really !

ohh those sly dogs! I bet most students don't even tell anyone because they think they were really special and that's why the university let them in haha I hope I meet one of those *Wink* only for you universty interviewers
