She was a rare piece of stone said to be worn by Louis The Sixteenth, but dispersed sometimes around the French Revolution in 1792. Later, the “Blue Diamond of the Crown” appeared as the re-cut Heart of the Ocean gemstone in a stunning pendant. She was found by Cal Hockley, the richest man in Philadelphia as a wedding gift to his fiancee. Rose Bukater was said to be the hardest woman to please and that peeved him enough to make her his bride. The necklace, he carried along with him everywhere he went! It was too pricey! It was said, he sleeps with the diamond. Rose evidently grew tired of the attention and made it "perfectly" clear from day- one that she had no interests. This made Cal's concerns grow! She would not reciprocate! "One" day, he lost it. He went after Rose and Jack with a 4 millimeter, hoping to shoot Jack. This did not work and the stock market crashed, leaving him with two choices. He could either go broke with no... money or shoot himself. He chose the latter.
Rose held her hand to her face as she stared at the cold hard rock! It meant "nothing" to her...!...
Because of this diamond, her world had gone down with the ship... Because... Jack had died. It was... stolen, goods. A constant reminder of Cal's greedy hands all over it!
With those same hands, he had planted an evil seed. The diamond was a reminder of their affair. Only a distant memory.
The Heart of the Ocean, once in her position, is now safely in a museum- on display. Younger Rose had no idea how she got here and where she was. All she knew was that she was aboarding a top of the class liner. The finest there is all around. She and the third class boy were confused. They were supposed to be on their way to New York!
Rose: This is all nice and all, but I want back on that ship!
Part of her rebuked at the idea because then, she would have to see Cal and mother. The last thing she wanted.
Honestly, she was scared!
"Where are we!?!"
"Oh my goodness, this belongs to the Hockleys! What... is it, doing... here!?!"
Titanic tour guide: Nathan and Caledon Hockley! That's right!
Rose: Cal is my fiancee. Have you seen him!?!
"What!?! Are... you, crazy!?!"
Other tour guide: Lady, you need big help if you think that is you!
"Lady, I assure you..., this is the most absurd story I've ever... come- acrossed!"
Next to King Louis' crown, was a portrait. A portrait of her!
She read the date and name done by someone named J.D., 1912! "That's that's..., me...!..."
"It... can't be...!..."
"La Coeur De La Mer", he whispered. "The finer of her class", as he stepped up to the glass case holding the Heart of the Ocean.
The Titanic actor (Officer Lowe) still... glanced at them warily. "Hm, yes. She is a beauty."
Jack suddenly looked around at all the Titanic memorabilias...
Tour guide: Brock, the original founder of the diamond said that one piece was missing, but we have both right here!
Rose was staring at a picture of the ship sinking. "So, old girl isn't as stable as they say...?!?..."
