Or maybe he will play that boyfriend that you said beat Lana up or something. Something that was mentioned in the Superman films.

Yeah and he'd only need a bit of stubble to hint at the Tache that was to come , and to be shown being asked to go bowling and be reluctant saying " me bowling ? are you quite mad ? " and we'd all knowlingly stroke our beards and go "aha!  " |

Well its not worth growing one till you know for sure he's going to be on , here's hoping I think he was A drunk in the film too , so they could show Lex persuading him to try wine , and he'd react like a humble country boy like Clark and refuse politely then eventually give in and we'd notice a nasty streak begin to emerge . |

Clearly he's going to be Lex Luthor's other long lost brother. Although I sort of want him to be Lana's abusive boyfriend now complete with moustache and bowling shirt.
