Since I finished the other trilogy I thought I might as well move on to this one. I just finished chapter 2 of the first book in the trilogy. So far it's quite the interesting story. Buffy feeling out of place, Xander angry at her, Springheel Jack a fire breathing demon attacking, Giles in New York and hospitalized after someone pushed him down the stairs, Cordy's hair burnt, giant squid-like monster taking down a ship in the ocean, earthquakes, and a rain of toads. Certainly not boring. Giles even met a woman before he was pushed down the stairs though I suspect she may be more than just a casual aqquaintance.

I remember reading these books a long time ago and thoroughly loving them.
I don't actually remember much of the plot.
C'est la vie.

I'm now halfway through the novel, and I must say it is still terrific. And I was correct in my assumption that there was more to Micaela ( the woman Giles met) than meets the eye. There's also an interesting back story that has to do with a princess and a sorcerer which leads to revealing the connection between the slayer and the things that are happening. (But that's all I'm saying!) ;D

I've read this trilogy and I do have to say it was quite good. Although, it's been awhile since I've read it not...maybe I should read it again to refresh my memory.
I like the way they added the Ghost Roads into this and Lucy Hanover. Eep...hope you already got to that part and I'm not giving away to much.

I remember really liking the idea of the Ghost Roads, too. Also the way the rooms in the house would shift or something...

Yes, I agree. I always thought it would make a great RPG, if you into them. Haven't seen an RPG section though on the forum...

I haven't gotten finished with the first book yet. For some reason I stopped once I had three chapters left, I believe. Haven't picked it up since but I still loved it. It's okay for mentioning things about Ghost Roads. I've read a lot of summaries and people's reviews of the books so I knew that Lucy Hanover was in it. I'd like to finish them sometime but now I'm just always busy.
