This is the daily banter in the house of Spike and Buffy.

Willow's spell went bonkers and she had to come back wrong.

They had tried to fix it, but nope, Buffy is now stuck in a vampire's body. Darla's to be exact and she has a huge belly.

They had gone through all the books and texts trying to decipher this strange event.

Apparently, it was prophesized by the PTB. Not a good thing for Buffy. This is Angel's kid she's carrying and they aren't even together!

But prophecies are prophecies and so life goes on.

They were told by the oracles that they are responsible for the child's well being. Buffy argued that it was pointless. She said it was Angel's kid, but she really had no way of getting out. They gave her an image of the future and what she saw frightened her. Holtz, Darla, Angel, Connor. The most frightening thing was Connor. He went psycho on his father, his memories erased because of some stupid hell dimension.

So yes, she is going to raise this baby. With Spike and Angel's help.
