Prying his arms away from her body, she said:
"Don't you get it? This is my only sanctuary. The only safe place to be."
She was pushing him and she knew it. There was so much a man can take before he breaks. And so much he wanted to tell her.
Spike: Why do you keep shooting me down like some rabid dog!?!
"Because you are ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
There, she said it. She finally managed to get it out. To tell him of her true intentions.
His confidence is put to the test and he struggles within himself. One part, the demon, wants to strangle her. The other part, the man, wants to hold and love her. He's just not sure anymore. Everything is sliding.
Spike: I'll go if that's what you want.
