William Castille chuckled humorlessly at the barbarians passing by him. He only had his eyes one person though. Elizabeth Cecily Adams.
She is the focus of tonight's party. Today, she is supposedly finding a suitor amongst the many guests. As she bounded down the elegantly wooden steps, he hurriedly went back to his work. Poetry writing and romantic thoughts about his "one."
Cecily, cecily, you are my one shining light When will you realize this and become mine? One will see through the open eye How close we are Through those holy depths You are beautiful You are effulgent.
Unfortunately, tonight many things will change. Starting with his heart.
Elizabeth knows what has to be done. She loves William, but what will the others say? Surely, no one will approve. And then they will laugh at her.
She can't let mockery get in the way of her family's reputation. This will surely ruin their image.
"That is the problem. I don't see you. You're nothing to me William. You're beneath me."

The boy ran out of there as fast as his legs could fly.
Just because he wasn't an upper crust like her didn't mean his feelings are any less.
He cried as he ripped the paper into confetti and tossed them all over the streets. His heart felt like it would explode and leave his chest. A sob escaped from his tightened throat as he shoved passed a few walking people.
Drusilla stood up on her tip toes to whisper something to Angelus before taking off after the boy.
"Look what the stars have brought us Miss Edith............."
William: Whoever you are, go away, leave me alone!
"I wish to be alone."

That same night, a creature was born.
The creature had the face of an innocent poet who had gotten his heart torn brutally from his chest. William stood up on wobbly feet and his reading glass crashed to the hard wet floor.
A pale hand reached out for him and without question, he grasped it tight in his.
This goddess before him had saved him from the humiliation of his past. He had been wrong about Cecily being "effulgent." This mysterious lady is effulgent. He brought her hand up to his lip and murmured against it, "Your name luv?"
"Drusilla.............."

They left that alley to find a vacant stall where he would eat the stall boy.
William: M' going to kill them ALL for you pet. Then, this world will be your's to reign.
Dru giggled and twirled around him, "And dance in their blood?"
And dance in their blood he confirmed, chuckling to himself. Oh yes, he will definately enjoy their cries of defeat as they plunge into oblivion.
He noticed that Dru suddenly stopped. She pointed to Miss Underwood and her precious man toy out on the nightly walk.
She urged him forward, "Go on. They are my gift to you sweets."
His eyes suddenly turned cold as the muscle in his jaw clenched and ticked. He balled up his hands, wishing that he can feel them as they slam into their skulls.
He followed them with his eyes as they brushed passed him without even a single look backwards. Oh yes, those two will definately pay.

Soon, he will have a run in with his former crush.
William: Lookie what we have ere' Dru. A delicious little morsel all on her lonesome. Whatever shall we do..............?!?
Dru stepped in front of Elizabeth and looked deep into her soul.
"There is nothing good in this one. You should kill her now my boy."
William: Oi, you remember blasting me about my bloody awful poetry!?!
He held up a glinting railroad spike and swung it, making aim for her skull.
"Teaches you NEVER to mess with the undead you sodding cruel bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

William stood over her body and marvelled at his "work." Then with one last glance, he grabbed Dru's hand and together made their way out of the cavern.
The next day, Elizabeth woke up with a pounding headache and something akin to hunger.
She searched all over the place for the source of her torment.
Last night, was all a blur. She remembered seeing William, only that his face was changed. It no longer held a human appearance. Was it a vampire she was seeing? Can't be can it?
As a young child, she was taught the Christian ways and was brought up well. Demons were just told to scare people from doing harmful things. Never had she ever imagined this to happen. Things like this aren't normal.
What happened to his face? It was bumpy, had ridges, and his eyes were glowing yellow. He even had fangs. And the girl with him. Was she one too?
