haha we talk about it like we've had health scares, near death experiences.
Internet is addictive.

Looks like I won't have to eat a hat then. My computer woes are not over! He had a look at it and cleared a bunch of crappy files but it didn't solve it. Then later on he had a brainstorm for some other things I could do (most of which I've already tried), so the last option is to do the old Spuffy solution of the factory thing. Although he didn't call it that, so I stand by my assumption that it's not called "going back to factory" here. Problem is that I don't have the XP Installation disc. So if I wiped it, I'd just have a useless computer. I never got the disc when I bought the computer, XP was already installed. So, he said he'll send me either an XP disc or Windows 2000 one to install. Sigh. Well, at least I don't feel like such a computer moron now. Even the expert couldn't do anything. Although, I'd much rather be eating a hat and having a normal computer right now.

If only, if only. I'm beginning to think Spuffy and I infected one another. But we always used protection!

Although, maybe we didn't. Maybe it's just a coincidence, or maybe it was the evil donkey!
