From creator/writer Tim Kring (NBC's "Crossing Jordan") comes "Heroes," an epic drama that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.

The series tells the story of people who "thought they were like everyone else ... until they woke with incredible abilities". The premise is that these people have a role in saving humankind

They'z got super powers Y'ALL! and they'z cool! and this show has been picked up for a season and has had GREAT RATINGS!

probably one of the best pilots I've seen.

The forth episode of season 1 has just aired.

It took ages for people to pick it up in the uk, I think there was a bidding war, but SCI-FI got it, I'm hoping it's not first runs so channel 4 or another channel I actually have buys it , I know that SCI-FI shows repeats in the us...so maybe? :/

The Black Donnellys - Mafia new york, cute brothers of irish ancestory made by Paul Haggis who wrote Crash and also has a nice second name - picked up by Itv/Itv2
The Nine - Bank robbery, nine people, the get out, people dieing cause someone got shot, they all feel like they've known eachother forever... BUT WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED IN THAT BANK MAN? - will be shown on five
Studio 60 on the sunset strip (S60 for short ) - Behind the scenes of a sketch/talk show Perry/Whitford have great chemistry in this, will be shown on channel 4.
Dexter - haven't seen the pilot yet, but looks interesting, JULIE BENZ IS IN IT, ,main character is a forensics analyst who works for Miami PD and also serial killer played by the guy who played David fisher in six feet under (other wise known as da gay one)
Ugly Betty - comedy, also haven't downloaded but looks good, "UGLY" GIRL WORDS FOR FASHION MAGAZINE LOLZ! adapted by Salma Hayek, and will be shown on channel 4 in the uk.
Life On Mars - Cop from 2005/6 goes back in time to 1973 and everythings changed bbc 1 YES, I KNOW IT'S ALREADY BEEN SHOWN, BUT WATCH ITTTT!

I don't think S60 is better personally, if I had a list it would probably be 4th or 5th, But I did like the pilot

BUT WHAT MATTERS IS that you like heroes, I like heroes... everyone likes heroes
