Spike said 'Ass' in chapter 2  surely 'arse' would have been more appropriate I was pleased with his smug grin that his notoriety had reached the two demon lads  Im wondering what will happen if the new Slayer sees Spike , will word get back to Buffy and co  |

i was still sculpting my mullet Im at chapter 6 I liked Dawns lack of warmth to Spike , id liked him to have been more crushed by that, and to be delighted to see her but know she would act cold even though she was probably pleased youve got Giles perfectly , i can hear his voice clearly saying your words I wonder is Buffy dead ! Is she in town? does she not really know Spikes alive ! is she in town and doesnt know he's alive is that whhat the 'Something Unexpected title alludes too ! i'll have to read on to find out |

I just finished 7 and 8 I liked Daves attempt at being a cool undercover informant , asking Spike to lean in , and Spikes reaction Spikes banter about the bar demon meeting a boyfriend was great too Chapter 8's description of impending death was creepy ,sad and great |
