First aired: 4/29/2003 Writer: Drew Z. Greenberg Director: James A. Contner Guest star: Nathan Brooks Burgess (Duncan), Justin Shilton (Monroe), Kristy Wu (Chao Ahn), David Grammer (Crazy Citizen), Dorian Missick (Policeman), Larry Clarke (Monk), Mary Wilcher (Shannon)
Following Caleb's attack, Xander is now blind in one eye. Buffy takes all the guilt and again encounters Caleb at the abandoned school. Faith presses her fun-loving nature on the potentials and takes them all to the Bronze, which leads to an argument between Faith and Buffy, culminating in forcing the potentials to choose between their two leaders, but because of Buffy's recent decisions and behavior, they all side with Faith. Meanwhile, Spike and Andrew look into an abandoned mission and discover a plaque which reads: 'It is for her alone to wield'.

I still dislike how everyone sided with Faith!

That's what I mean. Not that they sided with Faith so much but that they were all against Buffy.
Some of them, *cough*thePotentials*cough* I could understand and maybe even Xander and Anya considering what happened to him, but Dawn? Giles? What-EVER.

It led to some good 'Spike and Buffy against the world' stuff though .

Yes, but they were separated for a whole episode thanks to this ^ not to mention when he was being tortured.

The Spike/Andrew motorbike scene surely made this a worthwhile sacrifice ?

Nuh uh. I'd have loved it if Spike had waltzed in right in the middle of their berrating Buffy and told them all to "Shut yer gobs! This is the Slayer's 'ouse! You got a problem with her, then bloody well leave! Shagging! Bleedin'! Brolly!" I did like the scene where Spike and Faith fought, though. He could have SO killed her.

It would have been great if he did , just to remind people how evil he could be but chooses not to be and it would have ended the tedious Faith Spinoff pleas
