It's the year 2400, and man has made astronomical strides in technology and space travel. The human race seems to be developing into a species worth remembering. The invention of a new form of energy has left the Earth's atmosphere clean and crisp, and ending the necessity of the use of gasoline as fuel. Besides these major discoveries in technology, others have been made in the medical field; specifically in genetics. Scientists and researchers have discovered how to mutate the human genes and have secretly planted these genes, hoping to spark the next evolution of humanity. Unknown to the rest of the world, these chosen and select few have started to realize that something isn't right--that they have gifts beyond their wild imaginings.
The scientists and researchers who planted these mutated genes in an unsuspecting fetus have decided to try and find their long-ago subjects. They've created a place for them to be studied secretly on a man-made asteroid orbiting the Earth. Working along with NASA, these group of scientists have created an environment that resembles Earth's atmosphere. It's the first livable environment ever created by man in space. To top off their achievement, NASA and the scientists are developing Earth's next defensive weapon--the unsuspecting students and faculty that attend SHH--a high school geared to help power-gifted students to harness their abilities.
In order to maintain organization and some semblance of unity, the school is divided out common characteristics and powers into four groups: Trojans, Tactiles, Psychics, and Exotics. Everyone that enters through the doors of SHH is given a power group, and is then sent on where they can learn to master their powers for a specific purpose: to save humanity from themselves--or so they're told.
Will the students and others at SHH soon realize that it's all a conspiracy and fight for their freedom? Or will they continue to float in oblivion, totally unaware and willing to believe everything around them?
