Angel and Spike travel to Rome with plans to rescue Buffy from their old nemesis The Immortal. While in Italy, they also attempt to retrieve the head of a fallen demon leader to prevent a perilous power struggle between several warring demon clans.

the episode was kind of pointless.
but I liked the funny Angel/Spike scenes, which made it pretty obvious they wanted eachother... from a spangel shippers point of view.

I love the pointless episodes , but at the time when you knew there was only 3 to go i wanted all of it to be anxiously life or deathish . But theyre great to look back at .

yeah they are, still The episode was ok, I would have prefered it if it was earlier though (maybe 2 episodes earlier?) so the last 3 episodes could be life and deathish.

When it was supposed to have Buffy or Dawn in it , i thought we'd get life or deathish scenes with Spike having to eexplain his non deadness to them , oh welll  |

haha, thats what they were probably planning to do, with Buffy looking really angry and holding a rolling pin in her hand! (she started cooking after he died... to take the pain away ) |

yeah anger and joy confusion is always fun! I was just hoping Buffy would turn up in the last episode and smirk and say "Hi Spike" and he would faint while angel was killing the dragon thing.

I thought it was cute/funny everytime the boys went back to Buffy's apartment asking if she was home yet. hehehe.
