Welp, I'm leaving...

I'm going out of town until Tuesday night. I do this every year if you haven't noticed yet (I doubt you have...). My grandma, aunt, cousin, little sister, mom, and myself all go up to a cabin my great uncle owns up north near the Great Lakes. Well, right by one of them. We go up for the AppleFest every year and look around in the little shops and go stargazing and stare at the pretty, pretty leaves changing colors.

I remember last year seeing a stand that sold flowered onions and I giggled, thinking of Spike. Teehee. (or I think it was last year...)

ANYwho... I'll be bringing my laptop up there with me. I don't know if I'll be able to plug into the phone line and get online to see you lovely people but I'm going to try! If you don't hear from me by Saturday I most likely failed.

This also means that I will miss The Killers' final night on Jimmy Kimmel and I have no clue what song they'll be playing! Thank goodness for YouTube. ♥

So I was sitting in the hotel today (we stayed in a hotel the last night because we went and visited some family) and I was watching MTV and what comes on? THE KILLERS ALBUM LEAK... LIVE. They played half the album (or that's all they showed) to a live crowd in the TRL studios. The windows had curtains over them so no one could see in. The audiance unknowning that The Killers were gonna be there. >.< Lucky sons of... anywho... I got to watch it.

OMG. The bird, was sitting, on this sign, for a long time, and it let me get all close and take it's picture.

And here are some lovely rocks... Kay, so actually, there was a boat parade. The boats had lights on them and they went around in the lake parading themselves. There was a huge full, yellow moon. It looks really small in this pic though. I took a bunch of pix but none turned out so well.

This is from an actual parade. They had these cool animal puppet things that were huge. 2 people were in them. They had a wired frame and then some shinnies hanging for hair. This one was new this year and was huge so I had to take a pic. I think it's a moose. The people inside were walking on stilts to get the height. It was cool.

its an excellent selection of photograhs well done
it looks like a really great atmospheric place to have a holiday , i hope it was great , the pic with the old car makes the surrounding townn look like its from the olden days too
and that lake really does look superior than your average lake the one with the sun on the lake truly is tearworthy

The lake is huge. Very huge. And ALWAYS freezing. It's mysterious and it scares me.
