I can speak: English Urdu - My urdu is very basic none of that fancy posh "One, does not like your attitude towards western civilations in the 21st century, thee is very dissapointed in yee" stuff, I speak common basic urdu. I Understand Punjabi and Hindi I learnt French in school but i've forgotten it now, it was just basic "Hello my name is etc, i am from etc" french. I want to learn: Japanese Arabic Spanish

a lot of languages are really hard to learn, But if I spend a few years learning it, I'll become fluent in it.. hopefully, or I could marry a spanish speaking person, and get them to teach me for free But yeh Its not that easy to learn new languages, I mean I only speak and understand the languages I know because I've heard people speak them all my life at home, But yeah, It'll be really hard to actually try to learn a language.

I can speak German, in theory. It was my only A grade. Woo, go me and me Deutsch self.
I used to be able to speak Spanish because my dad sent me to Spanish school as well as the regular kind but then I forgot it all. He's Spanish so he speaks it fluently and I have no idea what he's saying.
The End.

Spanish is remarkably easy. But... I've only been learning it for a year. Just started year 2, but then again, I'm good with languages apparently... I'm starting off year 1 of French so by the end of highschool I'll have 4 years of Spanish and 3 of French. I plan to get more years of them in when I go to college. I also speak English, not the good England English, that American English And one of my teachers this year FINALLY told us that Britain and England aren't exactly the same place. FINALLY.

Ohh no dont tell me you though Britain was just England I really get annoyed when people dont know that Scotland and Wales and Northern ireland are part of britain too, I've talked to a lot of people that go "ohh scotland? Wheres that? beside spain?" "no its in the uk, britain" "but.. I thought England was britain.. are you english?" thats the worst thing you can say to a scot! saying that they're english! nooo we arent! Oh end rant.

I've taught her to know better than that, SA.
It always annoys me too and I am English! I don't like it when people are talking solely about England and they say "Britain". It's like, yeah we're part of Britain but we aren't the WHOLE of it. If we were we'd be called Britain and not England.
Rant Over.

See, here, our teachers call England "Britain" they said the names are interchangeable. So that's what I always thought and they never said anything about them being all part of Britain. But JMF is a great teacher and I now know things like England is IN Britain as are Wales, Ireland, Scotland, yada yada...This year which is 10th grade is the first year that any teacher has said England is not Britain. We had to name the countries that were part of Britain and everyone kept saying England, except me for I don't answer questions and I learned the truth from JMF. Mr. Ruege explained everything and now people know they're not the same! Yay!

You should have proudly put up your hand and said "Well, quite simply my dear Mr. Ruege, I would have to say - England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Yes, I am a geek"

I would have, but chances are he wouldn't have heard me. He's had three heart attacks and has been teaching since the 60's and for some reason can never hear anyone who says the correct answer. He hear's the wrong one's though. It was fun when he told us about Ireland being Northern and Southern. Someone said "Ireland has a North?"
