This show deserves it's own thread, I've decided. After watching only 2 episodes. Living Tv is vastly becoming my most watched station what with this, Gray's Anatomy and Veronica Mars on it's bill. Oh and Charmed but I don't really watch that. So, anyway. I really like this show. I don't even really know most of the character's names as I'm just getting a feel for them (shutup!) but I already like them. I was a bit "ick" with all the sex, not because it was lesbians but because it was just very graphic and VERY often but once you get used to that you can just take it in your stride. There's strong emotional ties between the characters and a lot of history there (I have no idea what season I'm watching at the mo) and it feels very layered. Also the theme tune has a swear word in it! I can only watch it when it's on at 1:25 and my mum's asleep and my dad's at work. Perhaps I'll rent it one day and get the full story.

I think they show it at a more decent hour, but that's the showing I can catch.
I'm glad Channel 4 hasn't snapped it up! Can you imagine what they'd do to it! It'd be messed around so bad.
I think it's a show for BBC2. That'd be radical.

Hmmpf. The new season started yesterday, don't know if I'll get to watch it today though. Anyway, it was great. It centred around the Gay Pride carnival and Bet's dad on his deathbed...that sound bad, mixing the two I mean. But it wasn't. Anyway, I think I'm finally starting to learn their names. There's so many of them! Anyway, so I like the Bet/Tina relationship even though Tina is seeing someone else who I can't figure the name out of and is heavily pregnant...they're now getting to "see other people" and Tina wants to see Bet but told her she won't stop seeing the other lady with the English accent. Jenny (played by Mia Kirshner, es ) and Shane were working through their issues with the guy who was supposed to be their friend but then set up hidden camera's in their house to catch lesbian antics. He apologised but then said he thought it turned into the best thing that he had done and that it's changed him as a man and he knows what it's like to be a woman now. Jenny responded with a string of curse words, then there was some nudity for him and lot's more curse words with her telling him (now that he was naked) to write the words "F*ck Me" on his chest, walk down the road and let anyone who wants to ^ do that, with a smile on his face and then say thank you. And THEN he'd know what it was like to be a woman. I was a bit confused here, thinking that I don't generally walk down the street letting people do that to me... But then we found out later that she'd be raped as a child....I think....that part wasn't too clear as one moment she was a child and the next she was her adult self. So, her attitude was kind of understandable. Also, Bet's dad has an obvious problem with her being a lesbian. He doesn't exactly say it out right but he tends to favour her sister Kit who's straight and it really upsets her. I felt sorry for her, indeed. There was also a bit with Dana and Alice...I think are their names...where Dana's brother "came out" at the Gay Pride festival to much hilarity. They also finally said they loved each other. Awwww. Anyway, I think that's all that happened... Good show.

No, Shane's a girl. I think it's possible they had a "thing", but I'm not sure as Jenny seemed to be dating Shane's old girlfriend.
Everyone's shagging everyone else.
