Pink Floyd were the only great act you missed then : P The Who's choice of songs wasnt great .

Theyd have made the best two closing acts , but maybe im just bitter at missing them .

Pink Floyd have had the biggest sales boost since the gig , I'll have to dig out their best of CD that lurks somewhere in my collection : P

I've decided I'm completely against Live 8. It was a horrific display of false advertising. There was no Live 3! There was no Live 7! What a racket!

Ive just been watching U2's performance from Live Aid in 1985 , Bono's hair and performance are a sensation
The edge looks 45 even then

I'll always remember this and how the first live "aid" song was better even though they sang the same song
