ahh one hit wonders, I probably remember lyrics to one hit wonders more than I can remember lyrics to songs by artists that have more than one hit

Most of the one hit wonders out there are great, and will live on forever (Kung fu fighting will forever be famous!)

I was watching one hit wonders yesterday, actually I only watched 30 minutes of it but it got me remembering all the old songs, that I remember singing along too.

My Sharona - The Knack, I think people called them the new beatles when that song came out, that song is great, after listening to it I just think "I'd love to be your sharona anyday" seriously who needs barry white when you have that song? it's a wonderfull song.

Kung Fu Fighting - Carl Douglas, everbody was kung fu fighting! oh it was fast as lightning!

I have "Doctorin the Tardis" by The Timelords (before harry and the potters there was the timelords, harry and the potters are a band who sing about harry potter, if you didn't get that from the name)

it sounds like a army marching song, it has the best lyrics in the world! it's a mash up of the doctor who theme and that rock and roll (or whatever it was called) song by Gary Glitter (oh how I hate him.) and the lyrics are just people saying "doctor who? tardis, what? yeah!" over and over.. genius.

i bought Cornershops follow up single 'Sleep on the Left side' it got in the top 20 , but i cant strongly argue they werent one hit wonders

I feel like downloading all the one hit wonders from that list (and adding some that I think should have been on there) and burning them on a cd, it would be great to listen to the wonderful sounds of The Buggles and Afroman! but it would cost a lot if I downloaded them Legally

i like that even though hes tried constantly to have new success he still always plays it with full gusto

theres guilt involved in downloading free songs of one hit wonders , its their only source of income


the cornershop follow up was good i thought not too many others agreed it seems

i didnt mind the rest of Spaceman , again i was in the minority

Maybe theirs a one hit wonders compilation album out there that I could buy

some of the artists on the list aren't one hit wonders since they had hits in the usa, but they weren't big in the uk... so yes you could call them one hit wonders

oh no! I forgot trouble! that was such a great song, I read "shampoo" on the list and I thought it was some 70s glam rock band.

Shampoo's Trouble was an undeniable smash , but youre both forgetting their follow up megahit 'Girl Power !' those bloody spice girls took credit for that powerful movement , but shampoo gave it its name and manifesto!!

They Became less popular because bands like coldplay came over and then everyone said "Toploader who? Chris martin! I want your babies! you can name our child orange if you want or even Abraham!"

Nigel Benn had an awful song in the charts the week before Chris Eubank destroyed him the song slipped rapidly from the charts as a result

hehe I went to frank bruno's website to look for it, but it isn't there, but there are some great pictures of him on his hog and DJing
