The show follows four young Irish-American brothers in New York's infamous Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood and their involvement with organized crime.

MAFIA! + CUTE BOYS OF IRISH ORIGIN = FANTASTIC.

It will air on NBC/EDIT: BURBANK - February 13, 2007 - NBC's new mid-season drama "The Black Donnellys" will premiere on Monday, February 26 (10-11 p.m. ET) -- following the hit drama "Heroes" (9-10 p.m. ET), it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, NBC Entertainment.

Oscar winning writers Alex from the oc, attractive man who as in the nightmare before christmas (yes he was actually IN it ), The Virgin Suicides, and the remake of the classic "Texas chainsaw massacre" and if you ever watched Third watch, FAITH'S HUSBAND!!! Mark Margolis who has been in every show made or a quarter of them who needs stars anyway?

did people watch Btvs and friends for the stars? no!!! give them a chance! they'll become huge after! People will watch this and fall in love with them! and they'll become stars and star in films with Ben Stiller and and Freddy Prinze Jnr!

it just says "2007" on the wikipedia page But I hope it'll be soon too

i had time to watch this today and forgot
there was a good bit with the narrator boy jealously looking at them , i think id have enjoyed being one of five brothers

wow thats a bit mighty i feel like it could have ended there as a shortish film and youd have walked away thinking it was good and wondering about their futures but theres more to be seen

No she's a family friend, and possible love interest for one of the brothers, in the words of Dolly Parton # WORKIN 9 TO 5 SOMETHING OR OTHER SOMETHING! #


I TOLD YOU it was great/fantastic/magnificant, at the end I had Shivers in the spine area it was so well made, it seemed like it should have been a film, BUT THERES MORE TO COOOOME!

I call it a cross between The Sopranos and Supernatural, supernatural because people will probably write disgusting incest fic about the brothers, and The Sopranos because of the mafianess of it all, it's like the sopranos with a good looking cast

it would have been the best short film ever made oscar worthy!

The ending was fantastic, so unexpected, the narrator was good too

i wonder will that not being the end be a bad thig though it was a great place to end

ive never seen an ep of the sopranos and feel like its far too late to board that bandwagon so this had better be a worthy substitute

THAT'S WHERE THE MAFIA THING COMES IN! DUHHH! they kill a mafia guy, from each side, then KABOOM, they'z gonna get in trouble!! they were just normal troublemaker/wise guys/brothers before, but then one day aka the pilot IT ALL CHANGED gets better from here

Maybe The Sopranos will be the new doctor who, and they'll start it again in 20 years you can watch it then!

I can't believe that you have never seen a episode it used to be on everytime you put on channel 4! bada-bing-bada-boo!

I know the baftas have a short film award, not sure about the oscars, but if they had IT WOULD WIN IT!

i think i'll leave it at the pilot and just have fond memories

i hoppe the next ep doesnt start with them all suddenly wearing suits and running the neighbourhood they should keep it so its constantly like theyre in over their heads

i missed ep one , so didnt want to joinhalfway thrrough so deliberately avoidede it thinking id catch up sommeday on dvd then they made a billion episodes

i thought those oscar wretches did too i'll burn my shortfilm that i had oscar hopes for
