Some say this is the best pilot this year.... I might have to agree
The Plot:
Pushing Daisies is a "forensic fairy tale" that focuses on Ned, a piemaker with a mysterious ability to make the dead live again. The gift is not without its complications, however: if he touches this being a second time, they'll be dead permanently. If they live for more than 60 seconds, somebody else nearby will die. (Quote: "It's a random proximity thing") [7]. It's a gift that he puts in good use to help a private investigator friend, Emerson Cod and his childhood sweetheart, the once-dead Charlotte "Chuck" Charles.[8]

It Isn't all that complicated, you "get" it once you watch the pilot.
I LOVE MISTER COD.
Anna Friel is in it! She who had dat lesbian kiss on brookside and does that advert for Pantene and she was in Goal too! (she was in Goal two too! I think! to de do do do)
all our soap star actresses are making it big stateside come on Barbra Windsor! you can get your own show too or join Lost she'll bring the magic back, Sawyer's new love interest!
anyway, Daisy Pushing! I liked the Pilot, looks like this show is going to be a hit! its created by the same guy that created (meh co-created) Wonderfalls (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderfalls) which also stars the Lee Place who plays the lead pie making character in this pilot! I wouldn't say the pilots this year are as good as the pilots last year, but I enjoyed this one!
Its starting 3rd October on ABC and it'll be shown on ITV1 in the uk
