Seems Firefly was picked up by the Sci-Fi channel here! I saw a commercial for it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. I'd never seen an episode of the show and plan on giving it a watch. they're said to be airing all 15 existing episodes as well as the 3 that never made it to television. I'm excited! ;D

Apparently Sci-Fi is owned by Universal which is the company associated with the movie and there's hype for a new season of the show, though nothing's official. Just a bunch of fans hoping.

They were talking about that on a site. Said that Fox completely screwed up the sequence of the episodes. Apparently Sci-Fi is going to air it correctly though, the way Joss wants it to be. Go Sci-Fi!

Joss was thinking they deliberately wanted the show to flop in the ratings so they could axe it , and messing about with the sequence was a tactic they used .

I also heard they didn't do any adverts for the show, but put it opposite of shows that they advertised constantly. Perhaps Joss was correct in his beliefs!

They must have something against sci-fi shows. But it's good the Sci-Fi channel has picked it up. Their shows do pretty well and they could possibly pick up another season of it.

Maybe it was expensive to film , or they decided its westerness was too unfashionable .
