I think they've commissioned a second series, I think Glenister more or less confirmed it, I certainly hope it's not the end, who cares about Alex's daughter! we need more 80s perms! Gene "Casanova" Hunt! Giving David Tennant a run for his money. The reconstruction was hilarious, the man who played Chris had an impressive forehead and hairstyle and Ray was fantastic! Police 5! He was the Fiona Bruce of the 60s/70s/80s! He was fantastic he was also in the 2005 Pride and Prejudice remake with Keira Knightly (who looks a bit like Keeley ) playing Darcy , he was swoontastic in this episode too I loved his wonderfull tashe It was great to see some Ska kids too I know, I think it just proves that Alex is crazy and its all in her head or maybe she's dead and he's death She's stuck in the 80s with Gene Hunt? thats hell? what must heaven be like then it must be fantastic, doubt it's as good as Hell though! But Shaz dieing and seeing Chris cry was heartbreaking. That Clown man gets scarier each episode (also I think the same actor that play's Alex's dad plays him ) Next weeks episode looks great I don't know if it'll be as good as this weeks though, bathtubs! ska kids! clowns! it summed up the 80s! can this show get any better? (probably )

if geneister wants it then it shall be it better be anyway he should have behaved slightly betterly to have hooked her though it seemed he'd ruined it all by the end of that ep the reconstructed Chris looked so odd it was good to see an actor with a Hearthrobby reputation in a fatsuit and tache and midlands accent sod the ska kids! bring back the new romantics! every week im sat there in my Lamé outfits and eyeliner in anticipation of a great new ep and duran duran sightings Gene has his own introspections though! he's real! or hes god ! or he imagined Alex and Sam theclowns her dad i wonder if that will be revealed somehow to further freak her out roll on next week it better be a 3 hour finale followed by series two starting the ffollowing monday

thank god they said ''new series next year '' at the end i loved the bit when one of their fake trophies was exposed and Gene said how they only won that match at the last minute his anti perm remark was great too the speech was great the moralising was good but more the line about being in Alicante looking like a burnt sausage it reminded me of Ray Winstone sunning himself in Sexy Beast ) The Ian Botham padding joke was great as was the joke about italian rifles i may just be diizzy with the current glee but this is better than Life on Mars how can anything be so good who knows not me cant wait to watch it 15 or so times tomorrow i never liked that dad but i was thinking Evan was going to be exposed as the villain what a fantastic creepy moment it was great when she sort ofremembered the man who picked her up had been Gene and it was good for him to call himself the gene genie again i wont be able to sleep now though with all the excitement

The new episode was fantastic I enjoyed Chris's hair and stripping (the falling over was the best part ) and Alex's new 1982 look. Ray didn't do much, but he was fantastic as always, I liked the disapproving looks he was giving Chris when Chris was being a feminist. Nice to have The Gene genie back, I've missed that fat faced hunk. Alex is turning him into a softie. When he's just a bap I liked the londoner cop (owwwwwwwight, owwwiggght Gene, he was my maaate) who may have pretended to kill the other copper for some unknown reason. I liked Alex's bits ( ) in this episode, I wonder who that strange man is, I thought it might have been Sam but the guy was too big boned, southern and evil to be Sam, then I remembered that Sam died . Although his body was never found in Gene's world, which isn't real or something. Poor Gene is obviously falling for Alex looks like she's going soon though Also they played Rio by Duran Duran what a scene that was I liked him saying he didn't care if Princess Margret was in the limo because she was sixth in line to the throne.
