www.warphead.com/urbanlegends/I just thought these were interesting when I found them on this site. There's one on there in the "Escaped Lunatics" section about a girl staying home alone and she hears something about a lunatic being escaped or something so she locks all the doors and stuff then goes to bed. She puts her hand down next to her dead where the dog licks her hand enthusiastically then the next day she wakes up and finds her dog dead in the bathroom, I think, and on the mirror it says "People can lick, too!" That last line amused me.

I heard a similar story... but I was told it was real. This girl hears this dripping in the middle of the night and thinks it's a leaky fauset. She feels at the foot of her bed to make sure her dog is still there.. and it is. So she goes back to sleep. The dripping wakes her later on in the night a few more times, each time she sees that her dog is still at the foot of her bed. One time she wakes up and the dog isn't there and she ends up following the dripping noise into the basement where... you guessed it (or at least I did)... her dog was hanging by the light. The dripping noise was the dog's blood. The question here is... what was at the foot of her bed all that time? Omg I'm so scared now and I was the one telling the story! I'm suppose to be going to bed soon, too! Stupid Sayla. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. *hits self in head repeatedly*

She puts her hand down next to her dead Oh my god! Who would touch their dead in such a casual manner! For a minute I thought this thread was about the film Urban Legend. I don't think we really have them over here. I liked the one in the film where the killer was talking to a boy on the phone and he was like "Oh, let me guess. This is the one where the phone call is coming from inside the house. Ooh scary" and the killer says "No, this is the one with the little dog in the microwave" And the boy's all "nooooooooo!" and runs to the kitchen to find his little Scottie Dog is frying tonight! Bwhaha. Lot of UL about dogs...

I saw that movie the other night! It was LEX! With HAIR! hehe I read that you do have them over in England, they're just called something different... I forget the name.... white something.... And Cookie, most urban legends are told as if they are real Some people like to say "This happened to my friend's friend..." or "I read about this in the paper..." or something And at the foot of her bed was the insane lunatic

"In the UK, urban legends are sometimes referred to as WTSs (Whale Tumour Stories), from a famous World War II story about whale meat." - Wikipedia !!
I think it was on Saturday here too, or Sunday.... or Monday...hmmm... Whenever! I was just thinking "Poor puppy!!!" during that part. It was on the Family Channel so they liked edited it all weird and they never actually turned the camera towards the microwave.
