Kay, so, I didn't read through any of these posts cuz I'm lazy like that but I'm going to try and get my permit tomorrow. I'm pathetic, I'm 18 years old and don't even have me PERMIT. Psh.

I have no idea what I'll be doing. I'm totally nervous though. My mom says because I'm like... 18... I just have to take this test that's like suppose to be all common sense. But my common sense isn't always what other people's common sense is... or something. I'M WORRIED. That's my point.

on my first one the instructor drove us to a secluded spot , where we could kiss in private no he drove us to a quiet road and showed me the clutch stuff and i drove along the pavement , not out in front of anything .

I'm worried about being thrown in the deep end. The whole bring the clutch up halfway slowly sort of while accelerating is too much for my frazzled brain to cope with.
One time I sent the van jumping back and forth over and over and over with both me and my sister screaming in laughter.

yeah the 'biting point' clutch thing was a total shock to me during the first lesson , i made sure he knew id had no experience whatsoever so to go through all of the basics . ive done that recently when slowing down to park

My YOUNGER sister (who has her permit) critisized me too much when I would try and drive our mom's car around a parking lot. So I don't have much faith in my driving skills.

I think I'm a brilliant driver.
I nearly plowed into a 206, parked, in an empty carpark.

i tried to squeeze between two cars today but lost my nerve and parked in a less convenient place to avoid crunching the other two cars
