*dances around the room*
I adore this show now. I used to love it when it was shown on ch4 at 6pm but then they ballsed around with the scheduling and I couldn't get ch5 or Bravo so I lost track of it.
Now, though, with the generous gift of 3 boxsets of it I managed to get my love for it back.
I watched all 3 season in the space of a week.
It's pretty addictive viewing especially if you can't sleep.
I like how most episodes end on a cliffhanger and you can NEVER guess how it's going to be resolved. I also like how you know a lot about Sydney's life, so it isn't just a cold, distanced spy show like Bond or whatever.
After reading a lot of buzz about him on the internet I've begun to truly appreciate the character of Sark as well. He's a bit young but sometimes I like to pretend I'm not a skanky old man lover.
Jack is the coolest Spy Daddy ever and Lena Olin is a hot broad! I used to be all for the Syd/Vaughn romance too. Now I don't really give an arse.
I also liked Will's guest appearence in Season 3.
Speaking of Season 3 had to be my favourite. I don't think it was exactly a fan favourite but it reminded me a little of Buffy season 6 with Syd being all displaced and lonely. Excellent.
Woo, rave over.

I'm currently in the midst of Alias withdrawal symptoms Season 4 was a sensation and ended on such a cliffhanger There were so many good episodes with all the characters getting a chance to shine , Marshalls ep was remarkable and hillarious Nadia's backstory ep was great too. A great scheme would be to watch the first 3 seasons while waiting for season 5 JJ Abrams was discussing how theyll adjust the show to cope with Jennifer Garner's pregnancy , im intrigued

She's pregnant? I'm so out of the loop. Not Afflecks? Nooooo.
My favourite part of the DVD's were the bloopers. It's great to see them all messing up and having fun. Jennifer Garner is in a LOT of them, which is great because some shows *cough, cough* never put their leading lady in the bloopers.
The highlight blooper has to be when she's doing a serious scene, turns around and walks straight into a fence. haha. Elegant.
I'm gagging for season 4. It's quite un-attractive.

I think Bens the guilty man Ive heard she does endearing commentarries too , i was just looking at amazon , its a pretty decent deal to get seasons 1 and 2 together , 3 still brand new though They should have done more Bloopers on the Buffy/Angel sets , not 3 minutes ! An hour at least

I know! The Buffy DVD extra's suck really. Also they should put some of the delete/censored scenes on them. All the fans would loooove to see the censored scenes and the ones that are deleted like Giles and Wood smoking a spliff. Class.
I always just think that Jennifer Garner could do so much better. Then again I think that about SMG. I don't know the guys but whatever...perhaps JG and SMG could hook up.
I haven't gotten around to watching any commenteries yet but I will, darn it. I know some people think commenteries are boring but I love to hear the inside gossip like NB thinks SMG has "come to bed" eyes when she plays evil. A fact I couldn't live without!

The season 6 mass interview is great , but theres so much more they could easily give us , they need a fan sorting out what goes on the sets Thats the only satisfactory pairing , its about time SMG did something for the fans I love commentaries , I refuse to buy commentaryless dvds Affleck himself is a fine commentator

Yeah, I've heard that SMG said she couldn't do any commenteries because she didn't have the time, she was too busy and the scene manager or whatever would not spare her.
However, on the Alias and Firefly DVD's the lead actors both had time to do commenteries. In the case of Jennifer Garner she is in practically every scene.
Meh. I'm bitter.
Only some SMG & JG rumpy-pumpy could cheer me up.

45 mins to a busy woman like SMG? far too long.
There'll be a fanlisting for SMGARNER before we know it. And a T-shirt.

I think the SMGARNER names a bit to unwieldy , their entire relationship could flounder unless a better one is provided

I don't know SMGARNER has a sort of pretentious air to it. It could work. Or Garmg could be a nice change of pace.

I just found out that Marshall from Alias was on Buffy! He was in Season 5 and played one of Glory's hobbit minions called "Dreg" for 3 episodes!
Apparently he had already worked with SMG when she was 17 and when he saw her on set and he was all in makeup he said "Sarah, hey" and she replied "Hey Kevin" so he wondered how she recognised him and she said "You're distinct"
sweet.

Good old Kevin , I loved a few of those minions and wish they were more distinct from each other so i could name and shame my favourites : P
They had so many great sycophantic lines "your creamy coolness" and the 'day of glory' pun : P Its good to hear pro SMG stuff once in a while .

I watched episode 1 and 2 of Season 4 yesterday and already I was like "What the crap?"
S P O I L E R S
New organisation? Irina dead? Nadia vowing revenge? Bad English accents?
I like how Marshall said he went to visit Sark twice just to see a familiar face and that they "had eggs". I hope this mean they haven't turned into hens.
Why must Sloane always put his hand on Sydney's shoulder like that? Ugh, sleaaaaazy.
They should tell Eric Weisz! That guy rules. I'll always remember him in Felicity. Not in HER. *shudder*
New credits! I do NOT like the newly bopped up theme tune.
Jennifer Garner in underwear in the FIRST scene. Yes, Alias really is back.
