The opening scene was discussed heavily be my pal and i especially how they repeated the same scene later in the two part opener : P Weisz does have an extremely unlikely love interest in this season : P its pretty rivetting stuff Theres a great ep with a character i'll only refer to as Arvin Cone !!!!

Cone? Ahh, phallic.
I'm looking forward to it all.
I think it's written in her contract that Garner has to be in her underwear at LEAST once in each season. How well they'll manage that next season what with the baby and all I don't know.
And all the stunts she does. I won't be surprised if they have Syd standing behind crates/counters a lot next season. She'll suffer from a bout of arthritis and give up the spy game for a bit to play checkers in the retirement home. It'll be a great 5th season.

oops it should have been clone : P ( if youre not into spoilers then dont look up Joel grey the actor who played doc from Buffy season 5 ) A very cynical hack from SFX or Dreamwatch suggested that Nadia was brought in for such a prospect She'll do a smashing job in both capacities : P

From what I've seen so far of her she could give Syd a run for her money in the fox department. Then again, I've yet to see her lounging around in her underwear.
Doc was so sweet. You know me and old guys.
Is Marshall still married to Kerry? Cos, I think they're setting up an epic Syd/Marshall romance.

She's definitely at least on a par with Syd i'd say. I cant recall any such lounging scenes though : P He has an intriguing Alias role You may be speaking in your trademark wry style , but theres more truth in that than you realise ! When Marshall gets his very own season 4 ep , pay VERY close attention

Episode 3 was a sensation. I liked the whole ploy of her pretending she'd been in a car crash and Marshall's glee at blowing up the car was good.
I foung the B plot with Jack and Nadia sort of boring though.
Anyway, Dixon with drealocks, Vaughn with a bad accent again, Marshall with the "Shut up!" and calling Syd "Hot" again, all made up for it.
I also liked that Sydney was having a party it seemed like such a normal thing to do. Also glad to see more Weisz and his "I knew it!" when he saw Vaughn was good. Plus he's in the squad now, excellent!

Jack and Nadia have an interesting relationship this season , with the dark secret and everything . Marshall has some incredible episodes this year and gets in on the action more than ever . The ep where hes the main hero of the episode must be soon for you , its fantastic . Thats the one thing i'd change in Alias , make it less misssion driven and show theyre social lives and things .

Yeaaaaah that's why I don't like CSI and Law and Order that much because we don't really get to see their home lives.
I was trying to work out if Syd has done something new with her hair this season, but then she does almost every episode.

I always try and see into the lives of the CSI+SVU team and tell myself that " yeah finally here we go! we'll see more of this next week " then we dont : P Her underlying office style might have changed though .

Watched episode 4 "Ice". Wasn't as good as the last one. I did think the moody priest look suited Michael Vartan though and him and the Scottish lass had chemistry, so naturally she had to die.

Hmm "Welcome to Liberty Village" was quiet a strange/boring episode.
However, I liked that Weisz called Syd and Vaughn boring (practically) and that he and Nadia went bowling. Bowling, so romantic.
Syd and Vaughn are quite boring...except for the whole spy thing so actually not that boring...
Anyway, I also liked when Vaughn gave his lovely little monologue about how and where he proposed to Syd making it hella obvious he had intended to do that before she very selfishly got shot and woke up in Tokyo or Hong Kong and lost 2 years of her life.

Its no Spike/ Buffy if you ask me There was a great John Travolta film about a similar thing where an entire town in Russia was used to train Spies , but the residents didnt know they werent Americans , In the end they moved the innocent townsfolk to America .
